Project Management
Effective project management is an important part of every plan/spec project. Our in-house project management team works diligently to ensure that each project or task is completed efficiently, on time or ahead of schedule, and within or under budget.
Dedicated Project Managers work with your plan/spec teams to oversee system recommendations, estimating, and bid preparation/review activities every step of the way.
Critical project management tasks can include:
- Effective, ongoing communications with clients
- Communications with the AMS operational team

- Project/task responsibility (task assignments, schedule changes, etc.)
- Project closeout (when applicable)
AMS offers project management support as an in-house function. Members of our project management staff (Project Managers and other team members) bring a high level of hands-on and management experience to the job.
Control Systems
AMS is an industry leader in systems control (HVAC, lighting, access, and others), providing a wide range of professional services, including:

AMS maintains a large in-house control systems department that engineers, designs, programs, commissions, and installs leading-edge DDC (direct digital control) systems—controls critical to the energy-efficient management of any modern HVAC system.
Today, DDC systems play a vital role in optimum energy management and increased operating efficiency. AMS designs and builds custom DDC panels, installs DDC systems (new systems and upgrades), and provides remote monitoring and control.
In addition, AMS provides clients with a broad choice of non-proprietary DDC systems, including Echelon, Honeywell, Distech, Johnson Controls, Trane, and Carrier.
